Why eService Failed?

Question: We have received Service Undeliverable messages but the email addresses are valid. Is there anything going on with the eFiling system?

Answer: If an email address is valid there are a number of reasons that the email may not be deliverable. The most common ones that we are aware of include:

  • The recipient's mail box is full and will not accept any more emails,
  • The recipient has added one of those spam filter things in which you have to manually reply to a bounce-back email from the recipient, and
  • The firm has recently changed their URL to their firm-wide email addresses and the old domain (mir.com for example is no longer valid.
We understand it is frustrating to get used to the system and then have something like this snag it up but, in this case, none of the above are anything that state eFiling system can control.
