Explanation: Our customer complained that she was not able to upload her petition to FileTime. After researching the issue with her we determined that the reason she would not upload the file was because it was a Microsoft Works file.

The Issue

Microsoft Works was a scaled-down word processor sold to home users. The file extension is wps. For example, a document created in works might be named as petition.wps.

This product has been discontinued and our document converter cannot convert the files to PDF documents.

The Solution

The solution is to save the file as an RTF (Rich Text Format) file.

Open the document in Microsoft Works and click the Save As button.

Select to save the document in Rich Text Format.

After you do so you should have no problems uploading the file to FileTime.
