eCitations - Lubbock County District Clerk
To request eCitation from the Lubbock County District clerk's office follow these steps:
- Complete the Civil/Criminal Process Request Form and click the e-SERVICE option under Service By.
- Upload the Process Request form as a lead document.
- Do not need to request copies.
When the citation has been prepared the clerk's office will email a copy of the citation to you.
Attach a copy of the file stamped pleading to the citation and deliver it to your process server.
To request eCitation from the Lubbock County District clerk's office follow these procedures:
Download the Civil/Criminal Process Request form: http://www.co.lubbock.tx.us/egov/docs/1395073192_671813.pdf and click the e-SERVICE option under Service By.
Complete a Civil/Criminal Process Request for each party for whom you need a citation. Be sure to enter the name and email address to whom the clerk should email the citation.
If submitting this request with a filing of another court document:
- Begin a filing in your usual manner.
- Upload your lead document.
- Click the Add Another Lead Document button to begin a new filing in this submission.
- Select Petition as your Filing Code.
- Upload your Request for Issuance of Process as the lead document.
- Upload each Request as a new lead document in the same manner.
- Under Additional Court Services, find the Issue Citation option and request the number of citations needed.
- Do not request copies.
- Complete the filing in your usual manner.
When the citation has been prepared the clerk's office will email a copy of the citation to you.

If submitting this request as a stand-alone document:
- Begin a filing in your usual manner.
- Upload your Civil/Criminal Process Request as the lead document.
- Under Additional Court Services, find the Issue Citation option and request the number of citations needed.
- Do not request copies.
- Complete the submission in your usual manner.
When the citation has been prepared the clerk's office will email a copy of the citation to you.
Attach a copy of the file stamped pleading to the citation and deliver it to your process server.
