General Information about eCitations

eCitation is a generic term for the clerks of court emailing an electronic copy of a citation to the filer or the process server for service of process.

Listed below are the jurisdictions we are aware of that offer eCitation service as of the time of this writing (August 27, 2015). As we hear of additional jurisdictions offering this service we will update this information.

The process of requesting eCitation during an eFiling submission is almost identical to the process of requesting citations in the normal manner. The only significant difference is that you will not need to request copies of the pleading to attach to the citation.
