Why am I being charged twice for a filing?

Question: When we do eFilings and they are "returned for correction" by the clerk; are we charged the fees each time we resubmit?  Do I get a refund for the returned filing?

Answer: All fees for Failed, Returned for Correction, and Canceled filings are returned to you. The eFiling Manager (Tyler Technology) submit a request for refund to be processed by Payment Tech (Chase Bank) immediately.  Processing a refund request can take up 3 to 5 business days.  You will ONLY be charged for a filing when it is "Accepted" by the clerk of court.
