The FileTime eService Inbox
The FileTime eService - Inbox feature provides a second way for you to retrieve eServices to you by counsel in your cases. You can view eServices by the recipient or eServices by the case.
An additional benefit of the Inbox feature is that FileTime retains the service document(s) for an extended period of time whereas eFileTexas deletes them after 7 days.
You receive the standard email notifications of eServices by counsel to you.
View eServices by the eService Recipient
Here is how to access and utilize the Inbox feature.
Log into www.filetime.com and make sure you are on the Workspace tab (Figure 1, A).
Click the Services button (Figure 1, B) on the sub-navigation bar.
Click the Inbox button (Figure 1, C) on the drop-down menu to open the eService - Inbox page (Figure 3).
Be sure to select whether you wish to view the Inbox only for:
- service sent to yourself (Figure 2, A)
- service sent to someone else in your firm (Figure 2, B) - your attorney, for instance or
- service sent by case number (Figure 2, C)
On the eService - Inbox page, click the eService you wish to view (Figure 3, A) and it will be highlighted.
The eService Details section for that service will open in the right column. Click the link(s) to the service document(s) (Figure 3, B) to retrieve the it/them.
File marked copies of the service documents are available to you from this link only after the document has been accepted by the clerk. A non-file marked copy will display when you click the link before the clerk has accepted the filing.
View eServices by Case
Viewing eServices by case will display all eServices received by your firm for any firm service contact for that specific case.
From the Workspace tab (Figure 4, A), click on Cases (Figure 4, B).
Find the case and click the + sign in the far left column so it turns to - (Figure 4, C).
The case tabs open below the case. Click the eService Inbox tab (Figure 4, D).
You can then view all eServices by all counsel to the case (Figure 4, E).
Click the View button to view the eService and/or retrieve the service document(s) (Figure 4, F).
